Woodhaven Jewels

Shed Simas

Ten 3.5x2" prints of macro photographs, taken in the park at different times of the day and the year, were placed in an old-style jewellery cabinet, which was placed on a stump in the park. Visitors were invited to look through the drawers of this cabinet and take their favourite "jewel" home.

This activity forced viewers to look closer at details of the park that could easily be missed on a passing walk. The prints also had, printed on the back, the date and time when each photgraph was taken.
