This work explores the circulatory systems of bodies, trees, and language in a series of plexi etchings. A figurative sculpture, present in the park only on July 17th, complemented the piece. The etchings hang between the eye and the natural world, connecting them while emphasizing the power of language to estrange us from our own experience. The harm to nature is concomitant with the stunning of the human psyche through the sensory impoverishment of our language. Most people do not inhabit a living reality, but a conceptualized one.
