Eco Peeping

Byron Johnston

Four steel rods, spread sporadically throughout the park pathways, have tips shaped like eye bolts. The eye piece (circle) rests at eye level to accommodate peopled heights, encouraging the viewer to participate by looking through it. They are all brightly colored in pink, making themselves noticeable. Each viewing eye piece is focused on a particular object in the park, or the invisibility of the space.

Once the rods are removed, the holes in the ground will fill and become unnoticed with no damage done to the pathway or the plant life.
